annual generalmeeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Celtic Dolphins Swimming Club will be held on Sunday 25 March 2018 at Pontardawe Leisure Centre from 17.00pm.  This has been arranged during Club training for convenience and to encourage maximum attendance.

It is important that as many members as possible attend this important meeting as key decisions will need to be made that will shape the future direction of your children's swimming club.

During the meeting you will hear about how the Club has performed over the previous year and its plans going forward as well as to appoint a Committee to oversee the management and development of the Club for the year ahead.  

The proposed agenda for the meeting  will include the following and will also provide the opportunity for member questions:

5. Swim Wales Overview - written statement provided by Joe Tucker (Swim Wales South West Wales Regional Development Manager)

8. Election of the Committee (General Secretary)

APPOINTING THE NEW COMMITTEE

In terms of the appointment of the Committee, this is subject to an election process and nominations being received, as per the nomination form HERE, for the following positions:

- Chair
- Treasurer
- General Secretary
- Welfare Officer (executive non voting member)
- Fixtures Secretary
- Membership Secretary
- Committee Member (x1)


Completed nomination forms will need to be received by 12 noon prior to the AGM by email to celticdolphins@hotmail.co.uk 

In the event of more than one nomination being received for the listed positions, a members vote will be conducted during the AGM.
