Competitive swimming is not for the faint hearted and the swimmers and the family members that support them are the life-blood of the ongoing success of the Club on and off pool-side.
The Club relies heavily on the contribution of volunteers, parents in the main, and there are therefore many opportunities to get involved in Club activities. Fundraising, helping to organise events and galas, being part of the Committee, coaching, taking photos of our swimmers in action, time-keeping and officiating at competitions are examples of some of the ways to get involved.
The Club also provides a range of training courses for potential time-keepers and judges. These are free to parents and aim to instil the skills and confidence to participate and in turn support the Club to compete at a local, regionally and national level.
For further information please approach one of the Committee who would be very pleased to receive any support you can offer.
